Pocket Film Festival comes to Stafford

Staffordshire County Council and Flatpack: Assemble have joined forces to bring the brand new Pocket Film Festival to the streets of Stafford.

From 13-18 March 2017, quirky local venues (including a micro-pub, historic courtroom and the old Picture House cinema) will play host to an exciting mixture of screenings and events.

Discover local gems from the Media Archive for Central England, see classic silent film with live piano accompaniment in the beautiful St Mary's Church, and if you've caught the screening bug, get advice from the Flatpack crew on setting up your very own film night.

Pocket Film Festival will give audiences the chance to explore new spaces, as well as shine a light on venues and groups who programme regular film screenings.

Join us on a journey across Stafford for a programme of cinematic treasures, from Hollywood classics to short films, live silents to archive footage.
