The popular Farmers' Market in Stone returned for 2017 on Saturday with a fresh new look.
The market has developed into one of the largest in the county with a huge range of fresh food and craft stalls on offer.
And to mark its return to the town on Saturday (4 February) the 24 stalls were housed under brand new marquees. Stafford Borough Council has invested in the marquees with a new contractor responsible for their installation at each market.
The Council has run the markets for more than a decade and Councillor Frances Beatty, Cabinet member for Planning and Regeneration, said: "The Farmers' Market creates such a buzz around Stafford and Stone and we are delighted we have been able to give it a fresh new look this year.
"The success of these markets demonstrates how visitors and residents appreciate buying fresh, quality products and supporting our niche traders.?
The marquees will be on display at the first Farmers' Market of the year in Stafford on Saturday 11 February.
Scott Evans, for the new contractor, Bescot Promotions, said: "We are very pleased to be working alongside Stafford Borough Council as their new stall contractors for the very popular Stone and Stafford farmers markets. We hope that working together we can not only continue the success of both markets but also help to build on them in the future."
