Stafford Gatehouse Theatre's current rock 'n' roll pantomime has already broken box office records and still has several days to run before the show closes this Sunday 8th January.
Aladdin opened on Thursday 8th December 2016 and so far over 18,142 tickets have been snapped up by eager panto fans. This incredible figure already eclipses last year's record breaking show, Jack and the Beanstalk, which had an attendance of 18,108.
"What an incredible start to the year! We set ourselves some big targets at the Gatehouse in 2016, one being to outsell the previous rock 'n' roll pantomime, and to do it before the show has come to an end is testament to the hard work and dedication of our amazing team over the last twelve months." commented Producer Derrick Gask.
"We have received fantastic feedback from our audiences and it?s been a wonderful panto season so far. Lots of people have been for multiple visits, and we are looking forward to seeing lots more people for some "wok 'n' roll" panto fun before we close on Sunday" concluded Gask.
Those looking for tickets will have to be fast though, as both the late night adult only performances on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th January have sold out and tickets for all other remaining performances are now limited.
Tickets are available from the box office on 01785 619080 or by visiting www.staffordgatehousetheatre.co.uk. Early booking is advised due to the popular demand.
