April Flowers wins Christmas Shop Window Competition

April Flowers in Greyfriars landed top prise for their Aladdin-themed shop window display after an inspection of all this year's entries by the Mayor and Mayoress of the Borough.
Each year independent and national retailers take part in the Stafford Borough Council competition to see who can produce the finest festive display in the front window of their shop.
This year's competition had an Aladdin theme to tie in with the Christmas pants at the gatehouse Theatre. And it was April Flowers' display - complete with the magic lamp and puff go smoke that Borough Mayor Councillor Geoff Collier and Mayoress Cathy Collier judge to be the best when they carried out their window shop tour before Stafford's Big Christmas Switch-On Show.
