Staffordshire's 10th annual Gastronomic Gathering to be biggest yet

As the Stone Food & Drink Festival marks its 10th anniversary on the 3rd, 4th and 5th October this year, food lovers will find even more to enjoy at Staffordshire's biggest celebration of all things gastronomic.

New for 2014 is a "Cookery Classroom" where visitors can book slots to get hands-on with food; with a variety of classes being delivered by local Indian cookery school iCookIndian and renowned Staffordshire chef, Paul Gilmore. The Talks and Tastings Tent programme is also bigger than ever; with topics ranging from wine, beer and prosecco tasting to goat meat and no-cook recipes. In the demonstration kitchen, the cream of Staffordshire's culinary talent will give live cookery demonstrations on the hour, every hour, with no less than ten chefs billed to perform over the weekend.
